Jennifer Ann Sullivan







Jennifer was admitted to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2014. She joined Castle Law in 2018 and now primarily concentrates her practice in criminal and traffic cases, municipal matters, real estate closings, and family law issues.

Prior to joining Castle Law, Jennifer worked as an Assistant State's Attorney with the Cook County State's Attorney's Office, gaining significant litigation experience in the Criminal Division. As a prosecutor, Jennifer gained valuable trial experience prosecuting a myriad of crimes, including those stemming from domestic violence. She has tried over one hundred trials, including three jury trials which she took to verdict. In addition to her experience with the CCSAO, Jennifer has handled matters, including veterans' VA benefits and discharge status appeals, general civil litigation, medical malpractice and personal injury cases, estate planning, and real estate closings.

In 2014, Jennifer received her J.D. from The John Marshall Law School, where she also received CALI awards for achievement in Medical Negligence, Corporations, Elder Law, and Property. While in law school, Jennifer was a member of The John Marshall Law Review, an editor of The Veterans & Service Members Law Bulletin, Chair of Ethics and Professionalism for Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Society, an Executive Board Member of the Brehon Law Society, and a member of the International ADR Mediation Team.

She earned her B.A. with High Distinction from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 2010, where she majored in History and Political Science with a Spanish minor. She also served as President of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, and was recognized with one of the three campus' Excellence in Leadership Awards.

Jennifer has instructed a CLE webcast with the State Bar of Wisconsin and authored a LAMP Feature Article for the American Bar Association. She presently is a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Will County Bar Association, Will County Women's Bar Association, and Chicago Bar Association. Finally, since 2011, Jennifer has also served as a Board Member for the University of Illinois History Department Alumni Board, more commonly known as the Friends of History.
