AT WORK

Ed is an invaluable pillar to all his clients and their families by providing a combination of empathy and sophisticated planning when accomplishing his clients' legal needs and objectives.  Ed speaks frequently with the Illinois State Bar Association on business and estate planning and is a member of the ISBA's Trust & Estates Section Council, as well as the ISBA's Task Force on the Unauthorized Practice of Law.

Originally a partner with Dystrup, Hoster & Jarot, PC, Ed's firm merged with Castle Law in 2015.

AT PLAY

Ed's spouse of over 20 years is Cheryl, who is also a paralegal with the firm;  they have two children.  Ed is a professional actor and has participated in numerous projects and productions throughout the Chicago area. Ed is also active with the Rialto Square Theater and its Foundation, serving as the Foundation's legal counsel, and a member of its Board of Directors.
